The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is a statutory body established under the TRAI Act, 1997. TRAI regulates telecommunications services to ensure the orderly growth of the sector while safeguarding the interests of service providers and consumers. Since 2004, TRAI also oversees the Broadcasting and Cable Services sectors.

Position: Assistant

Location: Regional Office, Bengaluru

Pay Level: Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus applicable allowances (DA, HRA, etc.).

Employment Type: Deputation on foreign service terms, initially for a period of three years.

Eligibility Criteria

Officials from Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings, and Statutory or Autonomous Bodies are eligible if they meet one of the following criteria:

Equivalent Post: Currently holding an equivalent post.

Service Tenure: Having ten years of regular service in Level-2 and above.

Age Limit: Maximum 56 years as of the last date of application submission.
