Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely presentation and reporting of the financial information of the Bank.
• Develop the financial strategy for the Bank and ensure compliance with financial standards.
• Disseminate government regulations and requirements to appropriate personnel and monitor overall financial and reporting compliance.
• Assess organisational financial performance against both the annual budget and the long-term strategy.
• Develop tools and systems to provide critical information to the CEO for strategic and operational recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to appropriate accounting policies, processes, and procedures to maintain the integrity of financial statements and compliance with local (Indian GAAP/RBI) accounting and reporting policies/standards.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI

Preferred Qualifications:

• CAIIB Certification
• MBA (Finance) from a university/institution/board recognized by the Government of India or an international university of repute (or) approved by a government regulatory body
• CFA Certification from the CFA Institute

Post-Qualification Work Experience:

For Scale VI Candidates:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in overseeing financial operations, preferably in accounting and taxation matters, within banks/large corporates/PSUs/financial institutions/financial services organisations.
• Out of which, 10 years should be in banks/financial institutions, with 5 years in senior management roles.

For Scale VII Candidates:

• Minimum 18 years of experience in the finance domain.
• Out of which, minimum 15 years of experience in overseeing financial operations, preferably in accounting and taxation matters, within banks/large corporates/PSUs/financial institutions/financial services organisations.
• Out of which, 10 years should be in banks/financial institutions, with 5 years in senior management roles.

Service Agreement Bond (for regular officers):

• Minimum Service Period: 36 months.
• Bond Amount: ₹2,00,000 plus applicable GST for SMGS (Scale-III) candidates.

Selection Process:

• Based on interview, with a possibility of assessment, group discussion, or online test.
• Preliminary screening based on qualifications and experience.
