Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Final-year students may apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of graduation by April 30, 2025.
Age Limit (as of April 1, 2024)
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government norms.
Selection Process
The selection process for SBI PO comprises three phases:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
- Objective test of 100 marks.
- Duration: 1 hour.
Phase-II: Main Examination
- Objective test (200 marks) + Descriptive test (50 marks).
- Descriptive test answers must be typed on the computer.
Phase-III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Personal Interview
- Maximum marks: 50.
- Final Selection: The normalized scores from the Main Examination and Phase-III will determine the final merit list.
Salary and Benefits
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹48,480 (plus 4 increments).
- Total CTC: Approximately ₹18.67 LPA (in Mumbai).
- Additional perks: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Insurance, Pension under NPS, and more.
