National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Established in 1977, NIHFW serves as a premier technical institute dedicated to the promotion of health and family welfare programs in the country. The institute was created by merging two national-level institutions: the National Institute of Health Administration and Education (NIHAE) and the National Institute of Family Planning (NIFP).
