Airmen in Group ‘Y’ (10+2) Medical Assistant at IAF Regular Jobs

The Indian Air Force invites Indian/Gorkha (a subject of Nepal) male candidates to appear in the recruitment rally from 29 January 2025 to 06 February 2025 to join the IAF as Airmen in Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade at Maharajas College Ground, PT Usha Road, Shenoys, Ernakulam, Kochi, Kerala-682011.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• OR two years’ vocational course with non-vocational subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with 50% marks.

Age Limits:

• For 10+2 candidates: Born between 03 July 2004 and 03 July 2008 (both inclusive)

Domicile Requirements

• School/College/Institute must fall within the specified districts.
• Permanent domicile certificate or proof of residence is mandatory.

Selection Process

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

• 1.6 km run (7 minutes for candidates ≤21 years, 7 min 30 sec for those >21).
• 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats.

Written Test:

• 45 minutes, covering English and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
• Adaptability Test-II to assess suitability for military life.
• Medical Examination as per Air Force standards.

Pay and Perks

• Training stipend: ₹14,600/month.
• Starting gross salary: ₹26,900/month plus allowances like HRA, transport, and medical benefits.
• Group Insurance: ₹62.5 Lakhs.

Training and Service

• Initial service: 20 years, extendable up to 57 years based on performance.
• Joint Basic Phase Training followed by trade-specific training.

Original certificates and four self-attested copies of:

• 10th and 12th pass certificates.
• B.Sc/Diploma in Pharmacy, if applicable.
• Domicile certificate.
• SOAFP certificate (if applicable).

Other items:

• 10 recent passport-sized photographs.
• HB pencil, eraser, blue/black ballpoint pens, stapler, glue stick, etc.
• NCC certificates (if applicable).
• Consent form for physical and medical tests.

Important Notes

• Tattoos, LASIK/PRK surgery, and possession of electronic devices in testing areas are not allowed.
• Candidates must not marry during the training period.
